All companies have a responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. OSHA standards require employers to identify potentially harmful risks in the workplace and to protect employees from such hazards by providing them with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This series of courses outlines the uses, requirements, and employer/team member responsibilities for the most common types of PPE. The courses also outline PPE standards and recommendations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
